Why we make beer?  As a brewer, I sometimes find it hard to believe that from malted barley, hops, water and yeast, comes beer.  I’ve done it over and over, I love the history and understand the science, it’s just that the more I do it, the more it fascinates me.  If ever there were something that is greater than the some total of its parts, it must be BEER.

Brewery tours? Not just yet.  This is a very old building and is still in need of exit compliance for the public to enter the basement.  So for now, no tours as per City of Lodi Fire District. 

I find myself doubly blessed, for not only have I consumed beer, but beer has consumed me.
